The Introduction to the Philosophy of Modern Spiritualism course consists of 3 two-hour lessons and is designed for those interested in learning more about the Science, Philosophy, and Religion of Modern Spiritualism. The course focuses on Spiritualism’s origins, history, and beliefs. Completion of this course is a prerequisite for those seeking membership to the church; however, it is open to anyone with an interest in learning more about Spiritualism. The course consists of the following lessons:

  • Lesson 1: What is Spiritualism?
  • Lesson 2: The History of Spiritualism
  • Lesson 3: The NSAC and The CSL
  • Lesson 4: The Philosophy of Spiritualism – Part I
  • Lesson 5: The Philosophy of Spiritualism – Part II
  • Lesson 6: “Becoming a Spiritualist” by H. Gordon Burroughs Review and Discussion

There is no cost for this class. All materials are provided free of charge.

When scheduled during our bi-monthly Mediums Days, there will be breaks throughout the day, with opportunity to schedule a reading during the Mediums Day.
